PTV Sports

PTV Sports live is a 24-hour Pakistani sports TV channel dedicated specially for all kinds of sports and cricket events. This channel’s trial broadcast begins from AsiaSat 3S satellite which is at an orbit of 105.5ºE in geo stationary on December 30th 2011. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan was the minister for information and broadcasting of Pakistan at that time and according to her, the development toward digital age should be completed by December 2012. The channel belongs to the Television Corporation of Pakistan. A contract value 45$ million signed among PTV Sports(Pakistan Television Sports) and Zee TV of India was intended to only promote and broadcasting PTV live sports action on the government run TV channel of Pakistan.
